VisionFund AZERCREDIT ANNUAL STAFF RETREAT 2011 IN NABRAN


As many international organizations in Azerbaijan and worldwide, each year VisionFund AzerCredit organizes a staff retreat for all staff members.

Staff retreat organized by VF AzerCredit every year is a source of great unity and inspiration for employees that represent different regions of the Organization and helps to learn from each other and develop deeper understanding between different departments and regions; moreover, through mingling work and fun, a great sense of team unity and commitment to the common goal is achieved.

Organized this year in Nabran — a famous see-side and resort region in the north of Azerbaijan, staff retreat had been a real mixture of 4 days work, socializing, great fun, and relax.



The annual retreat that brought together more than 300 people from 22 branches and sub-branches of VF AzerCredit aimed to reach the following objectives:

REVIEW AND DISCUSS STRATEGIC AND OPERATIONAL PLANS

General sessions, organized by the management and senior staff members, were conducted for all staff members to review policies and procedures, evaluate systems and processes, opportunities and threats, and rethink over resource allocation.

This type of important discussion sessions also involved people's views about the Organization’s strengths and weaknesses and brainstorming on how to do a better and more efficient job with lesser recourses.

TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES

Perhaps, team building related activities are the most important task of any annual staff retreat — aiming to strengthen team spirit and underline corporate values via sophisticated group activities and by integrating new staff members, re-energizing old employees and sharing the best practices and behavioral expectations. The retreat had also provided an excellent opportunity for the staff members to display their various talents and abilities through group works, role play games, and presentations.

Group works in mixed teams (mingling people from different departments, regions, and background) had endeavored to immerse new staff and reinforce long-time employees’ commitment to team work.

NOMINATIONS

Another most exciting moment of the annual retreat for the staff was the nomination sessions, during which the best employees and branches/sub-branches were publicly announced and prized.

VF AzerCredit uses the annual nomination process for building positive feelings of appreciation and recognizing accomplishments of those staff members that contributed heavily during the year. This year 20 awards were presented in such nominations as “Branch of the Year”, “Employee of the Year”, “Innovator of the Year”, “Best Service Provider”, among others.

The organization’s main asset is its staff whose number has already reached 310. VF AzerCredit has always boasted of its sincere, friendly and honest staff.
